Mission Possible: How You Can Start and Operate a Soup Kitchen

Hiya!

The title of this blog ALSO happens to be the title of a BOOK based on the author's experiences at TASK! The book provides a necessary how-to for any group who wants to start and run their own soup kitchen to help people in need in their area! The book is ordered chronologically starting from "Key start up considerations" all the way too "staffing considerations"

Here is one of the many positive reviews of the book:
"Almost everyone wants to do something to make a difference. Visionary leaders of the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (T.A.S.K) have made a huge difference in the lives of their patrons and in those of us who have been privileged to work with them. Mission Possible is about the best practices that have changed peoples' lives for the better through a soup kitchen. Here's the model. Make a difference!" - E. Roy Riley, Bishop, New Jersey Synod, ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America)

You can also download the book straight from the website! So check it out everyone! If it doesn't inspire you to make your own soup kitchen, then maybe it will inspire you to simply get involved with helping ones that are already in place like TASK!
