Hey guys!
Every Thursday at TASK from 11:30 to 1:00 participants get to write poems, songs, short stories, and plays and then share what they had created to receive feedback and constructive criticism. Sometimes, TASK uses these meetings to invite professionals in the preforming arts fields to volunteer an hour to run a workshop.
A band has also been formed! Called "The FunkTASKtiks" the band practices on Mondays from 11:00 to 1:00 and is open to anyone who wants to be a musician, no matter the skill level! Also, the program takes trips to see local theatrical productions, musical concerts, dance performances and poetry readings.
How to help with this program:
You can donate tickets to a performance, or volunteer to work a workshop, donating a musical instrument and more!
